Our Story…..

We started our business venture in New Haven by opening Wicked Automotive in December of 2007. Because we love New Haven so much, we were also looking to bring a high quality, family friendly restaurant to the community. On October 31, 2018 we opened Smokehaus BBQ serving authentic smoked barbecue in a family friendly setting. Located at 717 Broadway in downtown, Smokehaus BBQ offers a unique restaurant using high quality meats, smoked low and slow to give you a mouth-watering experience. Smokehaus BBQ quickly became a community favorite in the fall of 2018 when we were voted in the top 3 of the People’s Choice Award in the 2018 Taste of New Haven event. We originally began this restaurant venture with a food truck throughout the summer of 2018 while renovating the new restaurant. While we quickly became known for our ribs, the menu also includes pulled pork, brisket, wings, chicken, nachos, homemade pies and monster cookies. Smokehaus  BBQ serves lunch and
dinner from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday. We even deliver to the New Haven area. Have an event coming up?  Smokehaus  BBQ also offers numerous catering options, including the Food Truck, for all your party needs. We are proud to be a part of the New Haven community and pride ourselves with a family friendly dining atmosphere.
